Exhibitors, Retailers, Friends, and Family;
We hope this finds you all well during these challenging times.
With the best interest of the health and well-being of our industry vendors and retailers, and due to ongoing concerns related to COVID-19, Alliance Game Distributors has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Alliance Open House in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A great deal of discussion and consideration went into this decision, and we feel canceling the event is the best and safest way to proceed for all involved. We recognize that many of our attendees plan for this event each year, and we are exploring other opportunities to act as a bridge between our vendor and retail partners.
“The Open House event is something I look forward to planning each year with my amazing team” states Emily Hunter, Director of Marketing. “Not being able to interact with our retailers and vendors this year hits hard, but I know it’s the best decision for everyone”.
“While the Open House has a proud tradition going back decades, we recognize that we are not at a point that we can safely gather from around the country and indeed around the world in person just yet,” said Mike Webb, VP of Marketing and Customer Service. “We will be targeting resources we normally spend on the show to helping grow our suite of retailer tools and to improving our services to better meet the current marketplace for all of our partners, vendor and retailer. We cherish the suggestions and comments we receive at the show. Please do not hesitate to reach out with your suggestions and concerns anytime! Until we meet face to face again!”
Please stay healthy and be safe out there!
